Welcome to the Susanville Police Department's website. The Susanville Police Department has an authorized staff level of 19 people. Of these, 17 are  sworn peace officer positions.  The peace officers include the Chief of Police, Captain, 3 Sergeants, Detective, Narcotics Officer, and 10 Patrol Officers.  The remaining  2 are non-sworn which hold positions as Community Service Officer, and Administrative Assistant.   MISSION STATEMENT We, the members of the Susanville Police Department, are committed to making our community a safe environment for residents and visitors alike.  We will enforce the law fairly for all and be respectful of our citizens.  We will base our actions on the principles of our society in that all of our citizens have the right to be safe and secure in their daily lives.  We will develop meaningful partnerships with our community to solve problems and address issues which affect the quality of life of our citizens.      Enjoy your visit to our website.         Photo courtesy of:  A Better Shot
